There are a number of factors that will influence the price of a new industrial shed, because no two sheds are exactly the same.

Pricing your industrial shed

Generally speaking, the bigger your shed is the more it will cost because it involves more material and a longer timeframe to install.

Another major factor in determining the cost of your industrial shed is the design. A straightforward industrial shed with four walls and a roof is going to be cheaper than an industrial shed split into multiple sections.

The types of materials that are used in the shed’s construction will also add to the cost, such as choosing between wood and steel, and colorbond and zinc sheeting.

All of these factors will be driven by the specific needs your business has for the shed, so let’s run through a few of the major choices you could make.

Common factors for industrial sheds

Industrial sheds come in a wide range of shapes and sizes that are mostly determined by the use they are intended for. They can be as small as a garden shed’s 2mX2m or as large as a 100mX100m shed for a factory, or even larger.

At a basic level, industrial sheds can be designed in C-section purlins or structural columns, depending on what access needs you have and other factors like if you need an overhead crane.

From there, the shed size is determined by what you need it for, the floor space you require, the roof height you need for installing and operating your machinery or housing a workforce.

You can also customise the interior of the shed with separate spaces, offices, air conditioning and ventilation systems, anything you require to create the work or storage space you need the industrial shed for.

A guide to our prices

Our prices to fit out the office area for an industrial shed can range between $500 to $1200 per square metre.

In our experience, the popular large industrial structural sheds we supply that require cranes come in kit form and are around 1000m2, which is usually 50m long x20m wide x10 high. Depending on the crane specifications, we can generally supply the full kit for around $280,000.00.

If you don’t require a crane then we can design industrial sheds with C-sections up to 10 meters high with spans of up to 35 metres, depending on the area the shed is being installed.

For a standard C section 50m long x20m wide x5m high with four rollers and doors, the cost will be around $110,000.00

No compromise on quality

Determining the price of an industrial shed can be complicated because there are so many factors to consider that will affect the end price.

But one thing that we never compromise on is quality. Industrial sheds are large investments that need to perform their task now and far into the future.

That’s why we pride ourselves on using the best materials and demanding the highest standards of workmanship. If you’re interested in purchasing a shed for your business, start by requesting a quote online. You can also contact us by telephone at 1300 778 628. We look forward to working with you!
